7/29/2025 12:00:00 PM

COLUMBUS, OH - The Ohio Dominican Panthers men's soccer team has released its full slate of games for the 2025 season, featuring 18 regular-season matchups.

The Panthers concluded the 2024 season with a 3-12-2 overall record and a 3-10-1 mark in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) play, earning two wins at home and one on the road. Head coach Willy Merrick returns for his 17th season at the helm, alongside volunteer assistant coach Justin Evans.

The 2025 season kicks off with four non-conference games, all hosted at Panther Stadium. Ohio Dominican opens under the lights on September 4 against Davenport, followed by a matchup with Roosevelt on September 6 to close out the opening weekend.

The Panthers will then face former GMAC member Trevecca Nazarene on September 11 at 7 p.m., followed by a Saturday afternoon contest against the Lee Vikings on September 13.

Conference play begins on the road in North Canton, where the Panthers will face Walsh under the lights on September 18. They return home two days later to host Lake Erie at 8 p.m. On September 24, ODU welcomes Ashland before traveling to Findlay on September 27 for an afternoon clash with the Oilers.

October opens with a home matchup against Kentucky Wesleyan on October 4 under the lights. The following week, the Panthers travel to Canton to face Malone on October 9, then return home for a Saturday showdown against reigning 2024 GMAC regular-season champion Tiffin on October 11 at 1 p.m.

ODU will face Malone again on October 16—this time at home—for a 6 p.m. kickoff, then travel to Michigan two days later to take on Northwood in a Saturday matchup.

The Panthers' final two home games are set for October 23 and 25, hosting Thomas More and Walsh, respectively. They'll wrap up October with a road game at Tiffin on October 30.

Ohio Dominican's regular season concludes with two away games in November: a visit to Owensboro to face Kentucky Wesleyan on November 1, and a trip to Cedarville on November 4 for a 7:30 p.m. start.

To qualify for the G-MAC Tournament, the top six teams in the final regular-season standings will advance. The tournament is scheduled to take place from November 8 to November 15, with the highest seed to host.
