COLUMBUS, Ohio - Today, the Conference Commissioners Associations (CCA) announced their men's soccer All-Midwest Region teams, and Ohio Dominican's freshman standout, Mamadou Sow, received another major honor in his debut season. 

Sow, who had already been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the G-MAC First Team, was also selected for the CCA First Team All-Midwest Region.  

This marks only the second time in Ohio Dominican's history that a player has earned this award since 2017. As a result of this nomination, Sow is now eligible for the All-American ballot, which will be announced in early December. 

Sow had an impressive debut season, starting 11 out of the 13 games he played. He accumulated 1,017 minutes on the field and scored 10 goals, adding one assist for a total of 21 points. His shooting accuracy was remarkable, with a shooting percentage of 38.5% from 26 total shots. He also demonstrated precision in his penalty kicks, making all three attempts he took (3-3), and recorded 12 shots on goal, achieving a 46.2% accuracy rate.
