INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The 2025 Ohio Dominican men's soccer season is just nine days away, and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) has released its preseason coaches' poll, placing the Panthers 10th in the rankings. 

At the top of the list is reigning G-MAC regular season champion Tiffin University, which earned 105 points and six first-place votes. Findlay follows in second with 94 points and four first-place votes. Lake Erie College sits in third with 90 points, Ashland takes fourth with 77 points, and Thomas More rounds out the top five with 76 points and one first-place vote. 

Cedarville University ranks sixth with 72 points, followed by Kentucky Wesleyan College in seventh with 68 points. Walsh takes the eighth spot with 52 points. Northwood University is ninth with 37 points, just ahead of Ohio Dominican's 33 points in 10th place. Malone rounds out the poll in 11th with 22 points. 

Head Coach Willy Merrick returns for his 21st year at Ohio Dominican—his 18th as head coach—with eight seniors returning to the squad. The Panthers will open their season at home in Panther Stadium against non-conference opponent Davenport. Conference play for the Black and Gold begins on September 18th on the road against Walsh in North Canton.
