COLUMBUS - As the month of November closes, the Ohio Dominican Panthers men's basketball team will end the current four-game homestand on Monday (Nov. 28) evening. 

The last three home contests, including Monday's contest with the Concord Mountain Lions will be against Mountain East Conference opponents. Tipoff from Alumni Hall is set for 6:00 PM.

OPENING TIPOFF

• ODU rallied from 16 points down with 13 minutes to go for a 78-72 win over Alderson Broaddus last Wednesday (Nov. 23). The Panthers outscored the Battlers 37-15 in the final 13 minutes.
• Jarius Jones (Gahanna, Ohio) led ODU with 22 points and nine rebounds, including 16 points in the final 20 minutes. He leads the Panthers with 11.8 points per game. \
• Nate Webb (Lafayette, Indiana) hit three treys off the bench for 13 points and five rebounds.
• Kevin James (Massillon, Ohio) came off the bench and gave the Panthers a career-best 11 points in 28 minutes.
• Zach Szul (Waterville, Ohio) added ten points, four rebounds and four assists against the Battlers. Szul leads the conference with 4.3 assists per game this season.
• Marcus Johnson (Columbus, Ohio) is averaging 11.8 points per game on ten-of-27 shooting (six-of-12 from three) and .700 (7-of-10) from the free throw line.
• Ohio Dominican has an average of 38.5 rebounds per game - third in the G-MAC but the Black and Gold have 11.5 offensive boards per contest. JARIUS JONES and CALEB LAURICH average three offensive boards per game - second most in the G-MAC.
• Caleb Laurich (Akron, Ohio) holds the team lead with 7.3 rebounds per game, eighth in the conference.
• Keshawn Heard (Newark, Ohio) is averaging 10.3 points after eight points on Wednesday, Heard is shooting .650 from the floor.
• The Panthers are getting 25.25 points per game from their bench this season, including three straight games of at least 25 points.
• Ohio Dominican shot 60.7% from the field for the first time since January 25, 2020 against Tiffin (60.3%).

ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN LIONS

• The Concord Mountain Lions are 2-3 overall and 0-2 in Mountain East play this season. Concord has dropped two straight contests - both MEC opponents Charleston (82-77) and West Virginia State (85-80).
• Lual Rahama paces the Mountain Lions scoring offense with 17.2 points per game. The graduate student also averages a team best 9.4 rebounds and leads the team with a .468 field goal percentage. He is 2nd in the MEC for rebounding and 8th in scoring. 
• JJ Harper (12.0 PPG) and Jordan Wooden (10.4 PPG) are in double figures for Concord on the season. Wooden has the team-high in free throws made (13) and free throw % (.867) while Harper has the most blocks (1.6 BPG). 
• Ethan Heller has made the most three pointers for the Mountain Lions with seven triples and is the leading assister with three assists per game. 
• Da'Vion Moore is second on the team with 7.2 rebounds per game. 
• Concord averages 77 points scored (7th in MEC), 44.0 rebounds on offense (1st in MEC) and is shooting .422 overall (.264 from deep). The opposition is scoring 76.2 points per game, grabbing 39.0 rebounds and holding a .393 clip shooting (1st in MEC) (.291 from three).

Ohio Dominican will travel to North Canton to begin Great Midwest play against the preseason favorite Walsh Cavaliers on Thursday (Dec. 1).
