COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's men's basketball travels to Malone on Thursday before hosting Alderson Broaddus this Saturday in Alumni Hall.
Tip for the contest at Malone is set for 8 p.m. with the game inside Alumni Hall against AB set for a 1 p.m. tip.

The Panthers come into the week with an 11-14 record and a 7-8 conference record after a pair of road conference losses at Findlay and Hillsdale.
Seniors Hasan Varence (Queens, New York) and Sam Hickey (Toledo, Ohio) led the Panthers this past week as Varence scored 13 points and eight rebounds in the loss at Findlay and recorded his 13th double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds in the loss at Hillsdale. Hickey led the Panthers in points with 24 at Findlay with 13 points in the loss at Hillsdale.
Varence and Hickey are third and fourth on the Panther all-time scoring list with Varence having 1,656 points and Hickey having 1,583. Varence is also second in rebounds for his career with 1,056 and made field goals in his career with 662.
Fellow senior Michael Scott (Hebron, Ky.) has at least five assists in 17 of his 23 games played this season and has 139 assists so far on the season. Those 139 assists so far on the season is third most in a season and is just 18 assists away from breaking Mike Bell's record of 156 in the 1995-96 season. Scott averages 9.9 points per game while dishing out 6.0 assists and grabbing 3.7 rebounds per game.
Earlier in the season, the Panthers fell to Malone at home 77-63 back on December 14 and beat Alderson Broaddus in overtime in Philipi 88-82.
In the loss to Malone, Varence led the way scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds while Arius Jones (Lansing, Mich.) and Scott had 13 points.
In the overtime win at AB, Hickey led the way scoring 21 points with Varence scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Scott also finished with a 17 point 11 assist double-double.
About Malone
The Pioneers are 14-11 overall and are 8-7 in the conference after a loss at Cedarville before beating #19 Walsh on Monday.
The Pioneers have won three of their last four contests with wins over Ohio Valley, AB and the aforementioned nationally-ranked Walsh.
Jaret Majestic is second in the conference in three pointers made with 87 as he leads the Pioneers scoring 16.7 points per game. Majestic leads the conference and is second in the country in free throw percentage at 94.4%.
Marcus Ernst scores 14.0 points and grabs 8.6 rebounds per game which is second behind Varence in the conference. Sehill Mouliom is coming off game-winning free throws in the Pioneer win over nationally-ranked Walsh. Mouliom scores 12.7 points per game with Bo Myers mostly coming off the bench to score 12.2 points per game.
Defensively, Malone gives up 71.9 points per game as their opponents shoot 45.6% from the floor and just 35.3% from behind the arc. At home this season the Pioneers are 8-4 and have a 5-1 edge over the Panthers in the series inside Osborne Hall.
About Alderson Broaddus
The Battlers have dropped four of their last five contests and are 8-17 overall and 6-10 in the conference after a 79-68 loss to Trevecca and a 64-61 win over Kentucky Wesleyan last week.
Before the Battlers and Panthers tip on Saturday, AB will play at Salem on Wednesday.
AB averages 74.0 points per game led by Malik Bocook at 16.9 points per game. Four other Battlers also average double-figures with KJ walker scoring 14.1 points, Troy Cantrell scoring 12.5, and David Shrider and Bruce Spruell at 11.7 and 11.0 points per game, respectively.
Defensively, the Battlers give up 81.6 points per game as their opponent's shoot 48.2% from the floor and 40.4% from behind the arc. '
The Panthers lead the overall series with AB 4-2, having won the last four contests by an average of 6.25 points per game.
