COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's men's basketball team plays host to the Kentucky St. Thorobreds Tuesday night inside Alumni Hall with tip set for 7 p.m.

The Panthers come into the week with a 1-2 overall record after a 94-76 loss Saturday afternoon at Pitt-Johnstown.
Sam Hickey (Toledo, Ohio) led the way for the men scoring a season-high 30 points on 11-for-18 shooting plus a perfect 6-for-6 at the charity stripe. Hickey currently leads the G-MAC in scoring at 28.7 points per game and is also 10th in the country in that category.
Fellow senior Hasan Varence (Queens, New York) notched his second double-double of the season scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in the loss. Through the first three games, Varence is averaging a double-double with 13.3 points which is second on the team and a team high 10 rebounds per contest.
Junior Matt King (Mason, Ohio) is coming off his second double digit performance of the season with 10 points while also grabbing five rebounds in the contest with Pitt-Johnstown. King is helping lead the front court for the Panthers with Varence scoring 11 points per game on 43% shooting while grabbing five rebounds per game.
Senior Michael Scott (Hebron, Ky.) is averaging 11 points per game shooting 50% from the floor while also leading the Panthers in assists with five per game.

The Thorobreds are coming in 1-2 on the season after a pair of losses at the JCSU Tip-Off Classic against Johnson C. Smith and Livingstone.
KSU is scoring 67.7 points per contest this season led by Jordan Little at 13 points per contest while Grant Goode and Shaq Athie are also in double-figures at 11.5 and 10.7 points per game, respectively.
Athie and Little are also leading the Thorobreds on the glass grabbing 10.3 and 9.0 rebounds per game.
KSU is averaging 19.7 turnovers per game while turning their opponents over 17 times per game through their first three contests. The Thorobreds are also grabbing 40 rebounds per game while also giving up 46 rebounds to their opponents with the opponent shooting 47.7% from the floor while they are just 36.9%.
