COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team opens up conference play this week on the road at Lake Erie on Thursday and at Ursuline on Saturday.
The Panthers are 0-2-1 coming off a 1-0 loss at Saginaw Valley where junior goalkeeper Jadelyn McNerney (Springboro, Ohio) collected a career-high 13 saves in the match. Devin Schoenberger (Redondo Beach, Cali.) and Ashley Story (Canfield, Ohio) each registered goals in the opening weekend.
Freshman Kailyn Ciboroswki (Oregon, Ohio) leads the team with three shots. While senior Callan Myers (Hillsboro, Ohio) and teammate Schoenberger each have two shots-on-goal.
About Lake Erie
The Storm are 1-1-1 to start the 2022 season. Leading the way is sophomore Jillian Newlan who collected goals against Purdue Northwest and Alderson Broaddus. Behind her is freshman Ainsley McKenzie who also collected a goal against Purdue Northwest. Senior goalkeeper Megan Biddell has 13 saves and a GAA of 1.0.
About Ursuline
The Arrows are 2-0 to begin their fall campaign. They open conference play at Cedarville on Thursday Sept. 8. Sophomore Nicola Ehrbar leads the way with three goals so far. Fallon Joyce and Fiona Rombach have two assists a piece.
Kickoff is set for 5 PM on Thursday Sept. 8, from Painesville and 12 PM on Saturday from Pepper Pike, Ohio.
