COLUMBUS, OH -Â The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team hosted the Tiffin Dragons at Panther Stadium, just days after defeating them 1-0 on the road. This time, the two sides battled to a scoreless draw after 90 minutes of play.
Offensively, the Panthers controlled much of the match, applying steady pressure on Tiffin's defense. ODU outshot the Dragons 21–9, including a 12–4 advantage in shots on goal. The Panthers also led in corner kicks, earning seven compared to Tiffin's three.
Goalkeeper Ella Schnitzer was a standout in net, making seven saves—three in the first half and four in the second. The match grew physical as play went on, with Tiffin committing four fouls, picking up three yellow cards, and one red. ODU finished with seven fouls and one yellow card.
Offensively, Madeline Hartke and Ali Mathis each tallied three shots, with two on target. Mallory Smucker also recorded three shots, one on goal. Meghan Coakley registered two shots, both on frame, while freshmen Ashley Yontz and Savannah Angell added two shots apiece.
