COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio Dominican baseball team is set to hit the road for the first time in three weeks with four games at Walsh this week.

SERIES INFO

• ODU and Walsh have rearranged their series schedule around the predicted forecast and will now play 1 p.m. doubleheaders on Thursday, April 7, and Sunday, April 10. 
• The Panthers will travel to North Canton, Ohio to play at Biery Stadium both days. 
• ODU and Walsh have met 32 times since the Panthers joined Division II in 2011. 
• Entering play this week, ODU is 19-13 in the series, including a 3-1 record last spring at home. 
• The Black & Gold's last trip to North Canton came in 2017, when the two sides split an April doubleheader. 

PANTHER NOTES

• Ohio Dominican returned to G-MAC competition last weekend, going 1-3 at home against Ky. Wesleyan.
• The Panthers will enter the Walsh series 9-17 overall and 3-9 in G-MAC play. 
• Michael Knapp (Elyria, Ohio) and Jake Daniel (Troy, Ohio) continue to lead the Panther offense, batting .369 and .333, respectively. 
• Knapp drove in four runs a week ago, adding to his team-high season total of 16 this spring. The sophomore has also scored 17 times and has six extra-base hits. 
• Scott Rouse (Hinckley, Ohio) ranks sixth in the G-MAC with an ODU-best ERA of 3.33. Rouse has pitched 46.0 innings this spring, and has conceded only one earned run over his past two outings, 14.1 innings. 
• Brendan Hofacre (Chardon, Ohio) returned to the rotation last weekend versus Ky. Wesleyan, tossing a complete-game, allowing just four hits in a 3-1 win. 

ABOUT WALSH

• Walsh is 13-9 overall and is 4-1 in non-conference action during the start of April.
• The Cavaliers have registered a 5-4 mark in G-MAC play, last competing in conference action in a doubleheader sweep against Malone on March 25. 
• Walsh was picked to finish sixth in the G-MAC in Preseason Coaches Poll, two positions below the Panthers. 
• The Cavs are 5-1 at home this spring, including a three-game win streak entering play this week.

• Ohio Dominican baseball is selling raffle tickets for an ODU-branded fire pit. 
• Tickets are $10 each, or three for $20, and can be purchased at home games or through a student-athlete. 
• The drawing will be held April, 24, 2022.
