COLUMBUS, Ohio -- In its home opener, the Ohio Dominican women's soccer team continued to ride its offensive momentum, defeating Northern Michigan in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match 3-0, Friday evening.
The Panthers (4-3-0, 3-0-0 GLIAC) have now won three consecutive matches to start conference play, outscoring the opposition 9-0 during the stretch. The defending GLIAC regular season champions have now won their past 11 regular season conference matches.

Adding the third goal was sophomore Allison Pavlik (Cortland, OH). This was Pavlik's first of the season as she also has one assist in 2015.

Just over 10 minutes into the second half, Pavilk would find the back of the net as her cross was deflected by the goalkeeper, giving her an open net to score on from 10 yards out.
Less than three minutes later, Blake would come away with the ball on a NMU corner kick, taking it the length of the field, dribbling past the keeper to give ODU a 3-0 advantage.
Pavlik paced the Panthers with eight shots in the match, with two coming on goal. Senior Summer Bourcier (Mansfield, OH) led ODU in shots on goal with all three of her attempts threatening the keeper.
Senior Lauren Pratt (West Chester, OH) would take four shots in the match, while Blake and D'Isidoro would combine for three attempts.
ODU outshot the Wildcats 12-6 in the second half, as the Panthers held a 21-10 advantage in shots for the match.

The Black and Gold will be back at home at 12 p.m. on Sunday as they welcome Michigan Tech to Panther Stadium.
