COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio Dominican track and
field teams competed at the Jesse Owens Classic over the weekend on
the campus of The Ohio State University.
On the women's side, junior Taylor
Williams (Akron, Ohio) threw 47.48 meters to finish
27th in the hammer throw.
Junior Tyler Fifer
(Westerville, Ohio) finished third in the triple jump with
a mark of 14.30 meters.
The men's 4x100 meter relay team of sophomore Michael
Hawkins (Columbus, Ohio), sophomore Taylor
Williams (Houston, Texas), junior Darrell
Harley (Columbus, Ohio), and junior Xavier
Leonard (Atlanta, Georgia) finished eighth with a time
of 41.83.
Junior Aaron Johnson
(Troy, Ohio) placed in the top-20 in the 110 hurdles with
a time of 15.06.
Ohio Dominican will next compete at
the Ashland Alumni Open on Saturday, Apr. 26.
