CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican outdoor track & field teams competed in the All-Ohio Championships Friday afternoon on the campus of the University of Cincinnati campus. The meet featured a mixture of NCAA Division I and II schools.
Junior Tara Walker (Lewis Center, Ohio) placed fifth in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 38:50.92 while teammate sophomore Molly Priest (Wadsworth, Ohio) was sixth with a time of 43:08.16.
Junior Taylor Williams (Akron, Ohio) was 26th in a field of 45 in the hammer throw with a mark of 45.28 meters.
In the men's 10,000 meter run, freshman Patrick Ferguson (Austintown, Ohio) placed sixth with a time of 34:05.61. Junior Michael Barber (New Franklin, Ohio) was 16th in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:11.02.
In the men's field events, junior Tyler Fifer (Westerville, Ohio) cracked the top-10 with an eighth place finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.55 meters and senior Nick Green (Wapakoneta, Ohio) was 11th in the hammer with a throw of 46.82 meters. Sophomore Jaylen Guevara (Sandusky, Ohio) and junior Jordan Singleton (Alpharetta, Ga.) also cracked the top-20 in the hammer with marks of 37.81 and 35.03 meters respectively.
Saturday will conclude the two-day meet with running events starting at 10 a.m.
