MIDLAND, Mich. – The Ohio Dominican women's golf team competed at the Northwood University Invitational on Sunday afternoon, and the Panthers placed sixth out of a field of nine. The tournament was shortened to just 18 holes due to inclement weather on day one. The Panthers finished the tournament with an overall score of 340.
Freshman Jamie Ellison (Mason, Ohio) and senior Amanda Costanzo (Silver Lake, Ohio) finished in the top 20, each finishing in a tie for 20th. Ellison shot a (42-40) while Costanzo shot a (43-39) for an overall score of 82.
Sophomore Danielle Misencik (Concord, Ohio) shot an 87 (46-41) on the day while junior Ashley Swartz (Lima, Ohio) was just two shots back with an 89 (43-46). Freshman Emily Crow (Lima, Ohio) rounded out the Panther scoring with a 94 (47-47).
Ohio Dominican will next compete at the GLIAC Conference Championship, hosted by Tiffin University at Stone Ridge Golf Club.
