BAY CITY, Mich. -- For the second time this season, Ohio Dominican University sophomore Tara Walker (Lewis Center, Ohio) was named the GLIAC Cross Country Runner of the Week, announced today by the conference office.

Walker broke her own school record for the second time in 2012 with a time of 18:17.50 last Friday at the Wilmington Invitational. Walker finished fifth out of 340 runners, with an average mile time of 5:53.3, her third top-five finish of the year.

Walker and the Panthers head to Northwood for the GLIAC Championships on Saturday.
