Full PDF Release

COLUMBUS, Ohio
- The Ohio Dominican men's soccer team is back home against preseason GLIAC favorite, Tiffin, at 5 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 23 and returns to the road on Sunday, Sept. 25 continuing conference play as they head to Findlay for a 3:30 p.m. match.

Live Video/Stats:
Live video of Friday's games is available at http://www.pressboxproductions.net/index.html. Live stats are also available through http://livestats.prestosports.com/ohiodominican/.

About the Panthers:
ODU went 2-0 in its first weekend of conference play, upsetting No. 18 Ashland, 2-1, at home on Friday and rallying to defeat Lake Erie, 2-1, in its first road game of the year on Sunday.

Junior Colby Catlett (Hilliard, OH) and senior Felix Darko (Reynoldsburg, OH) provided the offensive spark for the Panthers as Catlett recorded both scores against the Eagles and Darko, not to be outdone, notched both goals in the win over the Storm.

With his team leading second and third goals of the season, Catlett allowed ODU to avenge the 2010 GLIAC Championship with it's second-ever win over the Eagles in program history. Darko, with his first goals of the year on Sunday, moved into sixth on the ODU all-time career points list with 53 and is one goal shy of moving into sixth on the career goals chart with 21 scores.

For the weekend, the Panthers finished with a combined 39-18 shots advantage, including 12-5 on shots on goal, and held a 16-6 margin on corners.

About the Dragons:
After climbing into the national poll at No. 23, Tiffin (3-2-1, 1-2-1 GLIAC) had a rough week, dropping two conference games as two-time Offensive Player of the Year, Ashton Campbell, went down with an injury 30 minutes into a 1-0 loss against Saginaw Valley State on Sunday. Despite a 1-0 halftime lead, the Dragons also fell to Northwood 2-1 on Sunday. Through five games played, Campbell ranks in the top of the conference and leads the squad in goals (5), assists (3), points (13), shots (22) and shots on goal (13).

About the Oilers:
The Oilers went 0-2 last week, losing 2-1 at home to both Northwood and Saginaw Valley State, but picked up their first win of the season on Wednesday, 2-1, at Ohio Valley.  Teddy Greschel and Dominic Lindeman each scored goals in the losses, while Chris Bailer and Alex Oliver recorded the scores in the victory over OVU. Bailer, a freshman, leads Findlay with two goals and four points on the year.

The Series:
This will be the 30th all-time meeting between the Panthers and Dragons with ODU holding an 8-19-2 mark in the series. The Panthers went 2-0-1 against Tiffin last season, highlighted by a 4-1 win in the GLIAC Semifinals.  ODU and Findlay will be meeting for the 21st time on Sunday and despite winning the last four contests, including both meetings a year ago, the Panthers trail the Oilers in the overall series, 6-13-1.
