COLUMBUS, OH - After battling the Northwood Timberwolves to a 1–1 draw on Saturday, the Ohio Dominican men's soccer team returned home to face the Thomas More Saints under the lights at Panther Stadium. The Panthers ultimately fell to the Saints, 3–0.
Blaivon James led ODU with four shots, including one on goal, while David Kasimov added another shot on target.
Thomas More outshot the Panthers 13–7 overall, recording five shots on goal — three of which found the back of the net. ODU managed two shots on goal in the contest.
Goalkeepers on both sides tallied two saves apiece, with Joseph Deitering stopping both of his in the first half. The Saints held a 5–2 advantage in corner kicks, while ODU played a more physical match, committing 10 fouls compared to TMU's seven.
Thomas More struck early, with Nick Phyllis scoring in the fifth minute and Will Fox adding another in the 16th — his fourth goal of the season — to make it 2–0. Phyllis sealed the result in the 60th minute with his second goal of the night.
Ohio Dominican will remain at Panther Stadium on Saturday, hosting the Walsh Cavaliers for a noon kickoff as the Panthers celebrate their 2025 senior class.
