INDIANAPOLIS, IN - On Wednesday afternoon, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced its softball postseason honors, with a pair of Ohio Dominican Panthers earning recognition.

Following strong seasons in the Black and Gold, junior Erica Massey and sophomore Emma Grau have both been named Second Team All-G-MAC selections.

A consistent presence at the plate and in the outfield, Erica Massey turned in an impressive junior campaign. She started all 40 games, hitting at a .390 clip with 46 hits in 118 at-bats while driving in 21 runs. Her extra-base production included five doubles, five triples, and a home run, contributing to a .542 slugging percentage and .438 on-base percentage. A threat on the bases, she added 13 stolen bases on the year.

Massey delivered several standout performances throughout the season, including a four-hit game at Lake Erie, a two-double showing against West Liberty, and a three-triple performance at Lewis. Defensively, she was nearly flawless in the outfield, recording 72 putouts and three assists with just one error for a .987 fielding percentage.

In the circle, Emma Grau helped anchored the Panther pitching staff with a resilient sophomore season. She compiled a 14-9 record across 28 appearances, posting a 3.09 ERA over 154 innings pitched. Grau tallied 70 strikeouts while limiting opposing hitters to a .273 batting average. She recorded five shutouts on the season, including three consecutive shutouts in the final week of regular season play.

Grau also contributed offensively as a dual threat, appearing in 32 games with 35 starts. She scored nine runs and collected nine hits in 45 at-bats, including three home runs—all coming in a doubleheader against Malone. She finished the regular season with a .400 slugging percentage. In the field, Grau added 40 total chances with just one error, posting a .976 fielding percentage.

The Panthers are set to open play in the first round of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament tonight in Akron, Ohio. As the No. 2 seed, they will face the No. 7 seed Ursuline Arrows at 5:30 p.m.
