INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Yesterday (May 6), the NCAA released another set of regional rankings, with Ohio Dominican softball moving up to ninth in the Midwest Region. The Panthers were ranked 10th last week and improved their position following the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Tournament.
Ohio Dominican currently holds a 29-22 overall record and a 19-5 mark in conference play. The last time
Marcella Vanlandingham's softball team made the NCAA tournament was in the 2024 season, when they earned the No. 3 seed in the Midwest Regional.
The G-MAC has five teams ranked in the Midwest Region's top 10. The NCAA Division II tournament bracket will be announced on May 11 at 10 a.m.
