PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - The Ohio Dominican Panthers men's golf team headed to South Carolina to kickoff the Spring season in the Pawley's Island Beach Bash.
As the host school, the Panthers were fifth as a team out of 17 teams on Monday (March 9) and Tuesday (March 10). For 36 holes, Ohio Dominican totaled 610 (+34) with team rounds of 303 and 307, respectively.
The Panthers combined for 26 birdies (tied for 3rd most) and 109 pars as a team.
- Elijah Zimmerman: Top finisher for ODU in a 25th place tie, combined rounds of 6-over 78 and 4-over 76 for a total of 154 (+10)
- He tied his season-low for 36 holes
- Cian Hughes: Tied for 28th place with a 155 (+11); shot 6-over 78 and 5-over 77 in his rounds
- Made six birdies, tying for 6th most of all players
- Rune Van Den Bosch: Shot a 156 (+12), finishing in a 32nd place tie; his best round was a 1-over 73 (season-low round) before shooting an 83 in round two
- Jonathan Campbell: Had rounds of 5-over 77 and 9-over 81 for a 158 (+14), tied for 45th place
- Chase Forsyth: Improved from a first round 87 with a 1-over 73 in round two, totaling 160 (+16) in 53rd place
- Tied for second-most birdies (8) in the tournament - had five birdies on back nine of the second round
- Nathan Menapace: Was +17 at 161 for a 58th place tie with rounds of 3-over 75 and 86
- Carter Price: Final score of 167 (+23) with rounds of 88 and 7-over 79, tied for 82nd place
- Garett Dillon: Tied for 111th place as the second individual - shot 92 and 90 for a 182 (+38)
Now with the Spring segment underway, the Panthers will head to Richmond, Kentucky in two weeks for the Findlay Spring Invite.
