RICHMOND, Ky. - The Ohio Dominican Panthers men's golf team split up and competed in two different events this weekend. The Panthers played in the Findianapolis Intercollegiate in Laconia, Indiana and the B Team was in the The Commemorative, hosted by Hocking College in Lancaster, Ohio.
FINDIANAPOLIS INTERCOLLEGIATE
Ohio Dominican was sixth of nine teams at Chariot Run Golf Club on Monday (March 30) and Tuesday (March 31). ODU scored a 54-hole total of 894 with respective rounds of 310, 9-over 297 and a 1-under 287. The final round of 287 was the third best round for the Panthers this season and was the third-lowest round of the tournament.
Over the course of the tournament, Ohio Dominican had 44 birdies (4th most) and 144 pars as a team.
- Jonathan Campbell: 54-hole total of 7-over 223, finishing tied for 15th place; he had the lowest round of the tournament - a 5-under 67 in the final round (tied for 4th best round all-time) with other rounds of 82 and 2-over 74
- Compiled 12 birdies (tied for 3rd most) and 28 pars - eight birdies came in final round
- Nathan Menapace: Tied for 15th place with a 7-over 223, shooting 8-over 80, 3-under 69 and 2-over 74
- Made ten birdies (tied for 8th most) and 30 pars
- Set career-bests in 54-hole total and single round
- Chase Forsyth: Finished tied for 25th place at 227 (+11) with rounds of 5-over 77, 8-over 80 and 2-under 70
- Ten birdies (tied for 8th most) and 28 pars for the tournament
- Rune Van Den Bosch: Scored a season-low 227 (+11) for a 25th place tie with Forsyth - had rounds of 1-over 73, 2-over 74 and 8-over 80
- Made eight birdies and 31 pars (team-high for pars)
- Cian Hughes: Tied for 48th place with a 238 (+22); scored 8-over 80, an 82 and 4-over 76
- Four birdies and 27 pars for the event
HOCKING THE COMMEMORATIVE
The B Team was the victor of the eight teams that played at Lancaster Golf Club on Sunday (March 29) and Monday (March 30). For the tournament, ODU won with a 36-hole total of 630, scoring 309 and 321, respectively.
- Elijah Zimmerman: Was the medalist with a career-low 6-over 150 after rounds of 2-over 74 and 4-over 76
- Will Rickard: Tied for second place shooting a 157 (+13), had rounds of 6-over 78 and 7-over 79
- Garett Dillon: Tied for seventh place at 160 (+16) with an even-par 72 (tied career-low) and an 88
- Bo White: Shot a 163 (+19) to be tied for 11th place, had a 4-over 76 round and an 87
- Owen Lutz: Tied for 11th place at a 163 (+19), scored 5-over 77 and an 86
- Carter Price & Aidan Fischer: Both finished tied for 14th with a 165 (+21); tallied rounds of 85 and 8-over 80
- Jackson Vesco: Tied for 19th place at 167 (+23) with individual rounds of 9-over 81 and 86
- Vincent Haller: Tied for 26th place with a 173 (+29), scoring an 84 and an 89
Ohio Dominican will host the Bill Blazer Memorial Match Play on April 11th and 12th in Lancaster, Ohio.
