CARMEL, Ind. - The Ohio Dominican Panthers women's golf team continued play in the 2024 NCAA East Regional on Tuesday (May 7) at Prairie View Golf Club.
After ODU shot 332 in the opening 18 holes, the Panthers tallied a 330 as they have a total of 662. Ohio Dominican is currently 13th of the 15 team competing in the regional.
Caroline Tragesser (Murrysville, Pennsylvania) had the best second round for the Panthers with a 79. With her first round 84, Tragesser is tied for 43rd place with a 163 (+19) so far. She tallied 11 pars in the second round, giving her 18 for the week thus far.
Both
Sydney Devore (New Philadelphia, Ohio) and
Ana Reed (Denton, Texas) shot 86 in the first round and then finished with identical scores of 82. Both of them are tied at a total of 168 (+24). Devore made nine pars and one birdies in the second round while Reed had two birdies and eight pars.
Abbey Dillon (Bolivar, Ohio) shot a 91 in the second round and is now tied with
Meg Saffell (Somerset, Ohio) after she shot 87 on Tuesday. Both have a 36-hole total of 170 (+26) in 68th place. Saffell made nine pars in the second round with Dillon getting six pars.
The final round will tee off at 8:30 AM on Wednesday (May 8).
