HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Ohio Dominican Panthers outdoor track and field team finished the 2024 outdoor season at the Great Midwest Championships this week. Competition took place on Wednesday (May 1), Thursday (May 2) and Friday (May 3) at Hayden Park in Hillsdale, Michigan.
Three school records were broken in the final meet of the year, including the 4x100 relay, javelin and long jump. Ohio Dominican finished tenth on the mens side with 11 points scored and 11th in the women's standings, scotring seven points.
5th Place Finishes
- Brooke Armbrust (Grove City, Ohio) – 2nd fastest program 100 meter time in the prelims (11.97 seconds), ran a 12.22 second final time (9th fastest in the program); 8th place in the 200 meter final (25.47 seconds) - totaled the sixth and seventh fastest 200 meter times (25.36 seconds in prelims)
- 4x100 Relay (Obas, Boahen, Seely, Diaby) - school record time of 41.54 seconds
6th Place Finishes
- Cole Miller (Bainbridge, Ohio) – long jump school record of 7.22 meters
- Owen Wilhelm (Sunbury, Ohio) – topped out at 1.88 meters in the high jump

- Eugene Boahen (Columbus, Ohio) - 10.86 seconds in the 100 meter final, ran a 10.70 second prelim time (4th fastest in program history); 10th place in the 200 meter prelims after a 21.92 second run
- Aly Diaby – 22.22 seconds for the 200 meter prelims (PR) for 13th place; 2nd fastest program time for 400 meters of 48.77 seconds in prelims
