ASHLAND, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican Panthers indoor track and field team prepared for the conference championships next week with the Ashland Last Chance Meet on Saturday (Feb. 21).
At the Niss Athletic Center - the site of the 2026 Great Midwest Indoor Track & Field Chanpionship, ODU saw six personal bests fall as well as five top ten marks for the program's record books.

- Peyton Proffitt: 3.85 meter mark in the pole vault (3rd all-time and NCAA provisional mark)

- Kiera Archer: 59.50 seconds in the 400 meters (PR and 10th fastest all-time)

- Kiera Archer: 8.01 second PR time for the 60 meter final after a prelim time of 8.03 seconds; 26.73 second time in the 200 meters
- Ismael Obas: 22.80 seconds in the 200 meters

- Eayuel Gebrtsadik: 9th in the 3000 meters at 8:37.99 (7th fastest all-time)
- Matthew Thomas: 22.96 seconds for the 200 meters (13th place); 7.31 seconds in the 60 meter prelims (24th place)
- Anna Blackstone: 5:51.02 PR in the mile for 16th place
- Alyza Camp: 18th in the mile with a 6:41.10 time
- Grace Pitt: 2:54.26 PR in the 800 meters for 18th place
- Ismael Obas: 7.17 seconds in the 60 meter prelims (20th place)
- Giovanni Louprasong: 22nd place for the 200 meters at 24.10 seconds (PR); 23rd place in the 60 meter prelims with a 7.23 second PR
- Jon Chaney: 22nd in the weight throw with a top mark of 11.61 meters
- Brandon Ammons: 30th in the shot put with a 10.01 meter mark
The team will compete in the 2026 Great Midwest Indoor Track & Field Championships at Ashland on Friday (Feb. 27) and Saturday (Feb. 28).
