CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican Panthers outdoor track and field team battled some windy conditions at the Cedarville Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open on Saturday (March 30) at the Yellow Jacket Track & Field Complex.

One school record officially fell in the event and a few more were challenged with the windy conditions affecting some of the marks. The women finished in a 12^th place tie out of 14 teams with eight points scored. The men were seventh overall of 15 teams, scoring 44 points.

1^st Place Finishes

• Cole Miller (Bainbridge, Ohio) – 6.99 meters in the long jump

2^nd Place Finishes

• Brooke Armbrust (Grove City, Ohio) – set school record for the 200 meters (24.72 seconds), 3^rd fastest in G-MAC this season
• Eugene Boahen (Columbus, Ohio)– 21.59 seconds in the 200 meters

3^rd Place Finishes

• Aly Diaby – 50.11 seconds in the 400 meters for season's fastest time

4^th Place Finishes

• Eayuel Gebrtsadik (Columbus, Ohio) – 2^nd fastest time in the 1500 meters (4:03.13) in program history
• Owen Wilhelm (Sunbury, Ohio) – season best mark of 1.90 meters in the high jump

5^th Place Finishes

• Isaac Eugene (Westerville, Ohio) – 50.60 seconds for the 400 meters (PR); 22.34 seconds as a PR for the 200 meters in 10^th place

7^th Place Finishes

• Benjamin Seely (Chesterton, Indiana) – 11.08 seconds in the 100 meters; set PR in the 200 meters with a 22.70 second time (20^th place)

Other Finishes

• Tyler Wallace (Columbus, Ohio) – 10^th overall in the 100 meters with a 11.11 second time; added a 200 meter PR of 23.07 seconds in 26^th place
• Nikane Ambos (Wapakoneta, Ohio) – PR of 17.26 meters in the Javelin Throw for an 11^th place finish
• Yagouba Berry (Columbus, Ohio) – 2:04.82 in the 800 meters, 12^th place
• Ismael Obas (Columbus, Ohio) – 15^th for the 100 meters with a 11.27 second time; 17^th place in the 200 meters with a PR of 22.60 seconds
• Blake Wilson (Medina, Ohio) – 16^th place with a 54.49 seconds in the 400 meters
• Manny Codjoe (Bolingbrook, Illinois) – 55.05 seconds in the 400 meters (20^th place)
• Kaelin Pfeifer (Washington Court House, Ohio) – fastest Panther in the 400 meters, running a 1:03.48 in 16^th place
• Kassydee Owens (Harlan, Kentucky) – 21^st overall in the 400 meters with a 1:04.53
• Aidan Shannon (Columbus, Ohio) – 22^nd place in the 1500 meters at 4:23.66 (PR)
• G'Nae Morrison (San Antonio, Texas) – season debut in the 200 meters with a 26.56 seconds time (23^rd place)
• Shyla Pemberton (Dayton, Ohio) – 1:05.25 for the 400 meters, 23^rd place
• Jeralyn Strawn (Lancaster, Ohio) – 5:22.13 in the 1500 meters, finishing 24^th with a PR
• Grace Pitt  (Hilliard, Ohio) – outdoor PR for the 400, 1:06.22 in 25^th place overall

• Jana Griffith (Washington Court House, Ohio) – 27.92 seconds in the 200 meters, 37^th place
• Tyra McClain (Van Wert, Ohio) – 46^th in the 1500 meters at 5:44.65
• Kylee Henry (Circleville, Ohio) – 18^th place for the 3000 meters (12:34.64)
• Anna Blackstone (Lexington, Ohio) – 5:57.20, a 1500 meter PR in 51^st place
• Alyza Camp (Waynesville, Ohio) – shaved seven seconds off of her PR in the 1500 meters, 5:57.62 in 52^nd place

Ohio Dominican will compete in the Tiffin Track Carnival in two weeks on April 12th and 13th.
