COLUMBUS, Ohio – With the season winding down, the Ohio Dominican men's soccer team hosts Ashland on Tuesday, October 20, before hitting the road for the last time in 2022 on Saturday where they head to North Canton to take on Walsh for a second time.
The Panthers are 3-8-3 overall and 3-6-2 in the G-MAC. In last Thursday's match against Northwood, junior Hayden Garland (Johnstown, Ohio) notched his first career goal in the 2-1 loss. Forward Khalif Hassan (Columbus, Ohio) leads the Black and Gold with four goals and 30 shots.
Splitting time between the posts is Cory Pulles (Pickerington, Ohio) and Ethan Kraynak (Worthington, Ohio). Pulles has tallied 30 saves while Kraynak has added 25.
About Ashland
The Eagles are 9-4-1 overall and 8-3 in the conference. They are tied for first in the G-MAC with Tiffin. Forward Haruki Kimura has collected six goals on the season. Goalkeeper Ty Bowden has registered 47 saves and a GAA of 1.43.
About Walsh
In the first meeting between the Cavaliers and the Panthers, the Panthers dominated the match with a 5-0 shutout. Walsh sits at an overall mark of 8-5-3 and a 5-5-2 mark in the conference. Jose Rabadan Villanueva leads with five goals in his 2022 campaign so far.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM from Panther Stadium on Thursday. On Saturday, the match is set to begin at 3:00 PM from Larry Staudt Field.
