Box Score 2 ASHLAND, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's baseball team dropped the final two games of its series at Ashland on Monday, falling by scores of 13-0 and 10-3.
In the opener, ODU was limited to three hits as Ashland scored all 13 of its runs in the first three innings, including an eight-run third frame.
The Panthers took a 3-0 lead through three innings in the second contest, but the Eagles (13-8, 4-0 GLIAC) scored the next 10 runs to take the win.
Senior Jacob Horsley (Thornville, Ohio) had an RBI single and tallied another RBI on a fielder's choice grounder and senior Colman Fitzgerald (Centerville, Ohio) hit his third home run of the season for the Panthers.
Ohio Dominican (11-7-1, 0-4 GLIAC) returns home to take on Cedarville in a non-conference game at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Panther Valley.
