The Black and Gold opened the match with four goals in the first half, which was the first time since October 23, 2011, in a 5-0 win against Lake Erie, that the Panthers scored four goals in one half. This was the first time since joining the GLIAC and the NCAA at the Division II level that ODU posted four goals in the opening half of a match.
Senior Lauren Pratt (West Chester, OH) moved into the top five in school history in points (57), goals (22), and assists (13), as she scored twice and added one assist. Both of Pratt's goals came unassisted, while her assist came on a free kick from 10 yards out.
Posting her sixth shutout of her career, and her second consecutive match of not allowing a goal was sophomore Kelsey Harris (Mason, OH). Harris improved to 3-2-0 as the starting net minder for ODU as she made a save on both shots on goal by the Timberwolves.
Sophomore Ashley Blake (Hilliard, OH) scored her second goal of the season as she was first to strike for the Panthers, scoring in the fifth minute from 18 yards out on a long run up the left side. Blake's goal was her sixth career goal that came in the first 10 minutes of a match.

Senior Summer Bourcier (Mansfield, OH) received the free kick from Pratt to score her first goal of the season in the 16th minute.
Blake, Bourcier, and Pratt each scored in the first 18 minutes to give the Panthers an early 3-0 lead. D'Isidoro's score in the 40th minute would cap a four goal first half for the Panthers.
Pratt added her second goal of the match in the 75th minute as she scored on a deflected save by the NU goalkeeper. She finished with a team high four shots on goal, and paced the Panthers with six total shots.
ODU posted a season high 21 shots with 12 coming on goal. The Panthers outshot the Timberwolves 21-7 for the match. This was the first time since October 24, 2014, that the Panthers recorded over 20 shots in a game, a feat they accomplished six times a season ago.
Sophomore Allison Pavlik (Cortland, OH) logged three total shots, while juniors Amanda Fodor (Hilliard, OH) and Madison Baldwin (Zanesville, OH) also posted multiple shot attempts.
