The Panthers walked away from the trip 2-0. This week, the Panthers are looking to extend their winning streak to four as they welcome Tiffin to Panther Field on Friday, October 5.
About the Panthers:
With the help of senior Casey Weddle and freshman Brent Wahle, the Ohio Dominican men's soccer team silenced the Northwood Timberwolves 5-0 in Midland, Michigan.
Kicking his second penalty kick of the season, Weddle (Cincinnati, Ohio) sent the ball past Timberwolves goalie Johannes Sterobo in the 13th minute to give the Panthers the early 1-0 lead.
Just seven minutes later, Wahle (Pataskala, Ohio) recorded his first goal of the season after senior Colby Catlett (Hilliard, Ohio) dribbled down the right side and placed the ball into an open area to give Wahle an uncontested shot on goal.
Catlett once again found Whale as Whale connected for his second goal of the game at the 29:12 mark to give the Panthers a 3-0 lead.
Following the break, sophomore Jakob Szabo (Worthington, Ohio) found senior Justin Wheeler (Gahanna, Ohio) on a cross from the left side on the six yard line to score the first goal of the second half.
At the 66:02 mark, Szabo found Weddle this time after dribbling down the middle of the field for Weddle to put the ball in the back of the net from 13 yards out for the fifth and final goal of the game.
Freshman goalie Macklin Robinson (Cincinnati, Ohio) picked up his second win of his young career, notching three saves.
On Sunday, freshman Kevin McMahon (Dublin, Ohio), hit game winning goal and the Panthers third straight win, topping the No. 13 Saginaw Valley Cardinals 3-2 in overtime.

Weddle scored the tying goal and his fifth of the season after he kicked his third penalty kick of the season.
In the first overtime, Weddle found McMahon after playing the ball thru to the 18 and gave McMahon a shot on the goal for the game-winner.
Robinson picked up the win and improved his record to 2-1-0 while grabbing two saves.
