About the Panthers:
The No. 22 Panthers split their final two road games of the season this past weekend, falling to No. 16 Ashland, 2-0, in a battle for first place in the GLIAC on Friday evening, before rebounding to take down Lake Erie, 3-1, on Sunday afternoon to secure the second seed in the conference tournament. ODU remains one point behind the Eagles for the GLIAC lead with one game remaining. Sean Lipps (Fr./Gahanna, OH) and Pat McGrath (Sr./Cincinnati, OH) both scored their third goals of the season in the win over the Storm.

About the Norse:
No. 5 NKU went 1-1-0 in their two road games last weekend, falling 2-1 to Missouri - St. Louis on Friday, before salvaging the split with 7-1 win over Maryville on Sunday. The Norse currently are in a three-way tie for first place in the Great Lake Valley Conference. Forward Steven Beattie leads NKU with 14 goals, 12 assists, 40 points, 91 shots and 46 shots on goal.
This is the first ever meeting between the Panthers and Norse.

About the Timberwolves:
Northwood clinched a spot in the GLIAC Tournament last week, going 1-1 in conference play. The Timberwolves earned a 2-1 victory at Findlay before falling 2-0 at Tiffin. Northwood is currently tied with SVSU for the final spot in the tournament, but the Cardinals are done for the season and the Timberwolves hold the tiebreaker over SVSU. Northwood went 1-0-1 against the Cardinals to earn the tiebreaker. Keith Lough (Edinburgh, Scotland) scored both of NU's goals in the win at Findlay. He now has a team-leading five goals on the season.
ODU shutout NU on the road in their first meeting this season thanks to first have scores from Felix Darko (Jr./Reynoldsburg, OH) and Tommy Glenn (So./Pastaskala, OH).
