COLUMBUS , Ohio – The Ohio Dominican men's basketball team will get the 2008-2009 season under way tonight as they travel to Lebanon , Illinois to face McKendree University ( Ill. ). The Panthers and Bearcats are schedule to tip-off at 7 p.m. (CST).
Ohio Dominican was picked to finish 4th in the American Mideast Conference preseason coaches polls. McKendree enters the season ranked No. 9 in the NAIA DI preseason poll.
The Panthers return to action on Saturday, November 15th as they travel to NCAA DII Ashland University for a 3 p.m. non-conference match-up. ODU will host No. 6 Georgetown College ( Ky. ) in their home opener on Monday, November 17th at 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall.
