INDIANAPOLIS - Following a 4-0 week for the Panthers in their home tournament, sophomore outside hitter Logan Rubel earned her first Great Midwest Volleyball South Division Athlete of the Week honor, announced on Tuesday (Sept. 8). 

Rubel led the Panthers with 45 kills (4.09 kills/set) while adding five service aces, 26 digs (3rd most on the team), a.347 hitting % and five blocks. She tallied double-digit kills in three of the four matches, topping out at 14 kills against D'Youville. The sophomore had at least seven digs in three matches with a service ace in each match (two vs. Shawnee State).

Ohio Dominican is 6-1 to start 2026, winners of six straight matches entering tonight's contest at Fairmont State.
