Columbus, Ohio - The Panthers lose a tough game to the Walsh Cavaliers 2-0 on Thursday, September 10th.
Ohio Dominican opened conference play at Walsh University. The Cavaliers were quick to strike with a goal in the 13th minute, and another goal less than two minutes later. Walsh had an early 2-0 lead, and the Panthers could not respond. Walsh goals were scored by Paityn Marino and Kailey Hobart. The Panthers tried to battle back, but fell short of a conference win. Ohio Dominican had seven shots, four on goal, while Walsh had ten shots, five on goal. The Panthers own Kerinne Mueller had three of the four shots on goal.
The Cavaliers led the game in corner kicks with seven, while the Panthers only had one corner kick. Walsh played an aggressive game tallying 18 fouls, while the Panthers only had six fouls.Â
The women's soccer team looks ahead to their next match at home on Saturday, September 12th where they will host Cedarville at Panther Stadium at 5:00p.m.
