COLUMBUS, Ohio - The inaugural NCAA Power Index (NPI) regional rankings for volleyball were announced on Monday (Oct. 19).
Ohio Dominican was ranked seventh in the first set of rankings. The Panthers currently are 17-6 overall and 7-3 in the G-MAC with five matches to go in the regular season.
The NCAA Power Index is new for the 2026-27 academic year in Division II as a ranking system to help evaluate teams for NCAA Tournament selection. The system uses a data-driven formula that considers a team's wins and losses, strength of schedule and quality of opponents. The NPI rankings will be released weekly for the next two weeks (October 26 and November 2) before becoming daily until the NCAA selection show on November 15th.
