FINDLAY, OH - The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team traveled to the University of Findlay for a Saturday night G-MAC showdown but came up short, falling 4-0 to the Oilers after 90 minutes of play.
Findlay got on the board early, scoring in just the 6th minute when Sydney Noble netted her third goal of the season off an assist from Ava Ayers. Less than 10 minutes later, the Oilers struck again—this time Raegan Smith found the back of the net in the 13th minute with help from Avary Zeisloft.
Before the first half ended, Noble added her second goal of the night to give the Oilers a commanding 3-0 lead at the break. The final goal came right out of halftime when Zeisloft scored her first goal of the season in the 47th minute, capping the match at 4-0.
Findlay applied offensive pressure throughout the game, outshooting Ohio Dominican 19-1, including eight shots on target. ODU goalkeeper Ella Schnitzer recorded four saves. The Oilers also held a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.
The game saw limited fouls, with the Panthers committing five and the Oilers four. Each team was issued one yellow card.
