Yadhu Urs kicked off play at the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship on Monday (May 19) with the opening round in the Sunshine State.
Urs tallied an even par 72 in his first round at the national championship, sitting in a large gaggle at 20th place at even par at PGA National Resort.
He started the day with five straight pars before scoring a birdie on the par-5 sixth hole. After two more pars, he closed the front nine with his second birdie on the par-4 ninth hole. Through nine holes, Urs had put himself near the top of the leaderboard.
Urs birdied the 10th hole - a par-5 as he was 3-under par at the time. Back-to-back bogeys on the par-4 11th and 12th holes dropped him to 1-under par. On the final six holes, Urs had five pars and one bogey with the bogey coming on hole #17, a par-3.
His final tally for the opening round was three birdies, three bogeys and 12 pars.
Round two will commence at 1:22 PM with Urs teeing off from the first hole.
