LACONIA, Ind. - Joining the women's golf team in the Hoosier State, the Ohio Dominican Panthers men's golf team competed in the Findianapolis Intercollegiate at the Chariot Run Golf Club on Monday (March 31) and Tuesday (April 1).
Ohio Dominican finished fourth among the ten teams within the Midwest Region, shooting an 877 (+13) across 54 holes. The Panthers were 9-over 297 in round one, even-par 288 in the middle round and 4-over 292 in the third round.
The team made 170 pars (3rd) and 35 birdies (9th) overall with one eagle
Panthers Results
- Jeremiah Bane: Tied for 8th place with his teammate at an even par 216, had respective rounds of 1-under 71, even-par 72 and 1-over 73
- Tallied the lone eagle for the Panthers, one of ten players in the tournament; led the team in birdies with nine (T-10th)
- Yadhu Urs: Tied Bane at even-par 216 (tied his season-low) in eighth place, scored even-par 72, 1-over 73 and 1-under 71
- Totaled 38 pars (team-high, sixth most in the tournament)
- Jack Lindgren: Had the third best total on the team with an 8-over 224, scored 7-over 79, 1-under 71 and 2-over 74
- Tyler Andersen: Ended in a 42nd place tie with a season-low 230 (+14) after rounds of 5-over 77, even-par 72 and 9-over 81
- Bryce Cobb: Finished with a 231 (+15) in a 44th place tie - shot 5-over 77, 8-over 80 and 2-over 74 on his scorecards
Later this week, the Panthers will play host to the Bill Blazer Memorial Match Play on Saturday (April 5) and Sunday (April 6).
