LACONIA, Ind. - For the third tournament of the Spring segment, the Ohio Dominican Panthers women's golf team battled nine other regional foes in the Findianapolis Intercollegiate on Monday (March 31) and Tuesday (April 1).
Ohio Dominican finished sixth of ten teams with a 54-hole total of 959. Over the three rounds, the Panthers shot 323, 319 and 317. The team made 127 pars (7th among teams) and 24 birdies (4th most).
Panthers Results
- Ellyn Deibel: Tied for 19th place with a career-low 234 (+18), shooting rounds of 8-over 80, 3-over 75 and 7-over 79
- Tallied eight birdies (tied for 4th in the field)
- Maria Briceno Vargas: Shot a 241 (+25) to finish in a 26th place tie - scored 8-over 80 and 83 on day one before finishing with 6-over 78
- Led the team with 30 pars
- Caroline Tragesser: Totaled 244 (+28) on rounds of 83, 9-over 81 and 8-over 80, tied for 32nd place
- 2nd on the team in birdies with seven
- Marissa Cline: Finished tied for 35th place, had rounds of 8-over 80, 9-over 81 and 84 for a 54-hole total of 245 (+29)
- Sydney Devore: Rounded out the Panthers with a 246 (+30) on rounds of 84, 82 and 8-over 80 for a 37th place tie
The Panthers will host the NC4K Classic in Columbus, Ohio on Monday (April 7) and Tuesday (April 8).
