After weather concerns forced a postponement of Sunday's games in Northeast Ohio, the doubleheader was moved to Panther Valley but with the Storm as the home team. Lake Erie won the opening game 4-3 as the Panthers took the nightcap 3-1.

- One inning later, Ohio Dominican added an insurance run. Peter Jelenic singled with two outs and stole second base. The throw from the catcher went awry getting Jelenic to third base. Jacob Adams singled home Jelenic for a 3-0 lead.
- The Storm took advantage of an error to get on the board. After a leadoff single was erased by a pick-off from Steven Chapman. After a hit batter and walk, a fielder's choice put runners on the corners. A failed pickoff attempt error by Chapman scored the runner from third base as it was 3-1 ODU.
