TRAVELERS REST, SC - The Ohio Dominican Panthers women's golf team returned to South Carolina for the second tournament of the Spring on Monday (March 24) and Tuesday (March 25).
In the Trailblazer Spring Invitational hosted by North Greenville, the Panthers were second overall of ten teams, shooting a 652 total for 36 holes. Ohio Dominican finished four shots behind the eventual champion - Union (Tenn.). The Panthers shot a 321 in round one before a 331 in the final round.
The team made 82 pars (2nd in the standings) and ten birdies (4th among the teams)
Sydney Devore was the medalist in the tournament - topping the standings by two strokes. This was Devore's second tournament win in her career.

- Sydney Devore: Medalist with a 36-hole season-best total of 154 (+10), shot rounds of 6-over 78 and 4-over 76 - tied 2nd in the field with four birdies and was one of five players to tally a eagle
- Caroline Tragesser: 6th place overall with a 160 (+16) after rounds of 6-over 78 and 82
- Maria Briceno Vargas: Tallied identical rounds of 82 for a grand total of 164 (+20) in an eighth place tie; made the 2nd most pars in the tournament (20)
- Ellyn Deibel: 25th place in the standings with a 174 (+30), going with rounds of 83 and 91
- Meg Saffell: 36th overall, shooting 184 (+40) after rounds og 90 and 94
Up next on the schedule is the Findianapolis Intercollegiate in Laconia, Indiana on March 31st and April 1st.
