RICHMOND, Ky. - The Ohio Dominican Panthers men's golf team traveled to the Bluegrass State in the second event of the Spring segment on Monday (March 24) and Tuesday (March 25).
In a field of 18 teams, the Panthers finished eighth among a lot of teams in the Midwest Region at Boone's Trace National Golf Club. Over 54 holes, the team shot 7-over 871 with a 2-over 290 in rounds one and three and a 3-over 291 in the middle round.
The 54-hole total of 871 is the 3rd best team total in program history.
ODU made 45 birdies (T-7th) and 167 pars (T-3rd) as a team.
Panthers Results
- Jeremiah Bane: Tied for 9th place after a total of 4-under 212 (season-low), started the tournament with a 3-under 69 and 4-under 68 before shooting 3-over 75
- Yadhu Urs: Set a season-low with an even par 216 total, tallied two rounds of 2-under 70 and a 4-over 76, finished tied for 20th place
- Bryce Cobb: Tied for 20th place overall shooting an even par 216, scored 3-over 75 and 1-under 71 on day one along with a 2-under 70 on Tuesday
- Jack Lindgren: Finished tied for 72nd place as he totaled 228 (+12) with three rounds of 4-over 76
- Nash Linder: Shot 234 (+18) with respective rounds of 6-over 78, 9-over 81 and 3-over 75 in a 85th place tie
Next week, the Panthers will play in the Findianapolis Intercollegiate on Monday (March 31) and Tuesday (April 1). The event will be played in Laconia, Indiana at the Chariot Run Golf Club.
