NORTH CANTON, OH - In a quick turnaround following their game against Kentucky Wesleyan on Thursday, the Ohio Dominican women's basketball team traveled to North Canton, Ohio, where they fell to the now 6-2 Walsh Cavaliers, 66-52, in a Saturday G-MAC matchup.
Individual Performances

Macy Chapman once again led the Panthers, scoring 13 points on an efficient 6-of-7 shooting from the field. She also contributed six rebounds, three steals, and one assist in 27 minutes.

Sarah Ochs followed close behind with 11 points and three rebounds in 36 minutes.

Forward Jenna Shackleford chipped in 9 points, primarily in the paint, along with two assists and two steals.

Freshman Lucy Porter was perfect off the bench, producing 7 points in 11 minutes by going 3-of-3 from the field, including 1-of-1 from beyond the arc.
Game Breakdown
The game opened in the first quarter with Walsh quickly taking an 18-10 lead over ODU. Walsh shot 50% from the field compared to the Panthers' 38.46%.
In the second quarter, both teams scored 15 points. ODU improved their field goal percentage to 42.86%, hit 25% from the arc, and went 100% from the free-throw line. Heading into halftime, Walsh maintained a small 33-25 lead.
Coming out of the locker rooms for the third quarter, the Panthers improved their shooting, hitting 44.44% from the field (4-9) and going 6-6 from the free-throw line. Walsh, however, still managed to score 21 points on 47% shooting, extending their lead to a substantial 54-40 entering the final frame.
In the fourth, ODU recorded their best shooting quarter at 45.45% from the field but only matched Walsh's 12 points, preventing them from closing the gap. The Cavaliers won their sixth game of the season, 66-52.
