Panthers Cruise Past Dragons in 94-48 Win

TIFFIN, Ohio - The Ohio Dominican women's basketball team dominated the Tiffin Dragons in a crucial G-MAC conference game, winning 94-48. 

Fifth-year senior Gabby Stare led the charge with 21 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Key contributions also came from guard Brynn Mullet, who tallied 16 points, three rebounds, and seven assists, while Macy Chapman added 13 points. Sarah Ochs and Jenna Shackleford each chipped in with 12 points. 

First Half

The game started with both teams finding their rhythm, but Ohio Dominican outscored Tiffin 19-13 in the first quarter, shooting 43.75% from the field and 100% from the free-throw line.

Tiffin, in contrast, struggled with a 33.33% shooting rate from the field but shot 80% from the free-throw line. 

In the second quarter, Ohio Dominican's offense caught fire, improving to 45% shooting and hitting 62.50% from beyond the arc.

Tiffin struggled to generate offense, scoring just 12 points as Ohio Dominican stretched their lead to 43-25 at halftime. 

Second Half

The Panthers continued their dominance in the third quarter, limiting Tiffin to only 11 points while scoring 26 of their own and shooting an impressive 66.67% from the field. 

In the final quarter, Ohio Dominican's offensive surge continued, with the Panthers scoring 25 points on 62.50% shooting. Tiffin managed only 12 points as the Panthers sealed the 94-48 victory, with 11 of the 12 players who saw action scoring. 

In conclusion, Ohio Dominican showcased a dominant performance, finishing with 44 points in the paint, 34 points off turnovers, and 20 points from their bench. Their defense was a key factor, leading to 11 fast break points and 15 second-chance points.
