KENOSHA, Wisconsin - Ohio Dominican's volleyball team finished their first day at Wisconsin-Parkside University's Hampton Inn Invitational with two games. The Panthers fell to the Parkside Rangers 3-1 Friday morning. ODU's Jenna Peters led the Black and Gold at the net with 16 kills and four blocks. Senior Lauren Lucas collected ten kills and led the team with three aces. Setter Gabrielle Kirker made 23 assists, following with Saige Avery securing 21 assists and 12 digs. Bailey Christiansen led the team with six blocks at the net. Â
For the second game in Kenosha, the Panthers faced the Northern State Wolves and fell short 3-1. Ohio Dominican's Bailey Christiansen led the team with 13 kills, following with Lauren Lucas and Jenna Peters collecting ten kills each. Setter Saige Avery secured 22 assists and two aces on the game. Freshman libero Liv Fenstermaker linked 20 digs and three assists. Grace Zinchuk led the Black and Gold with five blocks at the net. Â

The Panthers will start their second and final day at the Hampton Inn Invitational on Saturday (Sept 14)Â with two games left. The Black and Gold will face off against Wayne State at 10 AM and finish with Upper Iowa at 2 PM. Â
