Baseball Uses Hot Bats to Sweep Thomas More

FLORENCE, Ky. - The Ohio Dominican Panthers (14-10, 5-3 G-MAC) baseball team snapped their three-game losing streak with a conference sweep of the Thomas More Saints (10-18, 3-11 G-MAC) this weekend.

Behind 43 runs on 46 hits, Ohio Dominican scored at least ten runs three times and tied the season-high for runs (14) twice.

Friday Game 1 (W, 10-6)

Two walks by Daniels and Jelenic along with a pinch-hit walk from Michael Knapp (Elyria, Ohio) loaded the bases with no outs. Brennen Hunt (Ashland, Ohio) blasted a grand slam off the scoreboard in left center field, putting the Panthers up 8-6. ODU loaded the bases once again with a single and a pair of walks. Knapp and Daniels were both hit by pitches and brought home runs. Ohio Dominican won the first game 10-6.
