Lauren Lucas. The Panthers dominated the match, winning all three sets with relative ease: 25-10, 25-16, and 25-10.Â
Lauren Lucas was the standout player for Ohio Dominican, finishing with 13 kills, eight digs, and two aces. Her all-around performance was a key factor in the Panthers' success. Gabrielle Kirker also had a strong showing, leading the team with five aces and contributing 19 assists. Ashley Chmielewski added to the offensive effort with 10 kills, two blocks, and an ace.Â
Set one was a dominant display from Ohio Dominican, limiting Ursuline to just 10 points. Set two saw a brief challenge from the Arrows as they kept the score close early, but the Panthers regained control and won 25-16. The third set was another lopsided affair, with Ohio Dominican holding Ursuline to just 10 points once again, wrapping up the sweep in commanding fashion.Â
With this win, Ohio Dominican finishes their regular season on a high note, looking ahead to the G-MAC tournament next week as they aim to carry this momentum into the postseason.Â
