GUYANABO, P.R. - The Ohio Dominican Panthers (2-1) men's basketball team took a trip down to Puerto Rico this week to play two contests against a pair of Division II opponents.
The Panthers opened the trip with a 40 point victory over UPR-Rio Piedras on Friday (Nov. 15) and ended the swing with a 76-71 win over UPR-Bayamon on Saturday (Nov. 16).

- Terrance Broughton led the Panthers with 20 points on a perfect shooting day as he was eight-of-eight overall and four-of-four from deep.
- Tony Ezeonu scored 15 points on four field goals (of five attempts) and seven-of-eight at the free throw line with two steals.
- Carson Seemann was the third Panther in double-figures as he tallied ten points and seven rebounds and three assists. Seemann converted all four free throw attempts.
- Zac Kimball finished with a team-high ten rebounds, scoring four points, had two steals and dishing out four assists.
- JeJuan Weatherspoon added six points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocks.
- Derek Goodman made two three pointers in a nine-point effort.
- Elijah Hinton gathered five rebounds to go with his eight points, two steals and three assists in 16 minutes.
- Jaylan Green and Antonio Carter each scored six points while combining for five steals.
- The Panthers shot 62.3% (33-53) to 28.3% (13-46) for the Gallitos.
- ODU forced 23 turnovers - leading to 36 points while scoring 48 points in the paint.
- Ohio Dominican had 34 rebounds to 16 for Rio Piedras.
Saturday vs. UPR-Bayamon (W, 76-71)
- JeJuan Weatherspoon notched a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds while adding two blocks. He had seven field goals with one three pointer along with going 11-of-12 at the free throw line.
- Brady Moore was tied for the team lead with seven field goals and three triples, leading to 17 points with seven rebounds, four assists and two steals.
- Terrance Broughton tied Moore with a trio of threes as he totaled 12 points with six assists.
- Zac Kimball scored six points with Derek Goodman tying at six points on two threes. Kimball pulled down nine boards.
- Elijah Hinton had eight rebounds on the afternoon.
- The Panthers shot 38.2% (26-68) being outshot by Bayamon at 39.7% (23-58).
- ODU won the rebounding category 43-29.
- The lead changed hands ten times with nine ties in the game.
- Bayamon tied the game at 64 with 2:09 left before Weatherspoon gave ODU the 66-64 lead on a pair of free throws. The Panthers would not relinquish the lead, winning by five.
After a week off, the Panthers return to action next Monday (Nov. 25) as they host Roosevelt at Alumni Hall for their home opener.
