CANTON, Ohio - The ladies of Ohio Dominican's soccer team traveled to Canton today to face Malone in a G-MAC matchup. To finish their week, the Panthers came away with a win against the Pioneers, 2-0.
The scoring started within the first 46 seconds of the game, by the right foot of Panther Jordyn Bena, assisted by freshman Madeline Hartke, forcing the Panthers to take an early lead of 1-0.
After steady back and forth passing between the two teams, ODU secured their second and final goal at the end of the 37th minute from Senior Ryanne Buck, assist by Kailyn Ciborowski.
The second half ended in a defensive frenzy, with both teams remaining scoreless. Ohio Dominican won the game, 2-0.
The Panthers collected a total of nine shots on the win, five being on goal.

The Black and Gold will travel to Tiffin on Thursday (October 10) to face the Dragons for a second G-MAC meet-up. Ohio Dominican previously beat Tiffin in their last meeting, 2-1.
