Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio - The ladies of Ohio Dominican women's soccer team hosted the Tiffin Dragons in Panther Stadium tonight. With a goal at the 89th minute of play, the Panthers clinched a win against the Dragons 2-1.Â
The first half started scoreless by both teams. Both teams shot the ball four times in the first half. Ohio Dominican recorded three corner kicks versus Tiffin's one.
The second half started similar to the first half, with the ball moving back and forth between both teams. The dragons kicked off the scoring at the 72nd minute with a header goal by Suzy Hayes, assisted from a corner kick by Emma Lennig. The Dragons didn't have the lead for long. With the remaining ten seconds, Ohio Dominican defended off the Dragons and secured themselves their second win of the season, settling their record to 2-3-4.
Tiffin shot the ball a total of 13 times with seven shots being on goal. Ohio Dominican landed 12 shots, six being on goal. Goalkeeper
Jadelyn McNerney had herself six saves for the night, allowing one goal.Â
