COLUMBUS, Ohio -Â The Ohio Dominican men's soccer team faced off against the Ashland Eagles at Panther Stadium in a Great Midwest Conference matchup, but unfortunately fell 4-0.
The Eagles struck first in the 22nd minute with a goal from Oliver Lovell, assisted by Pedro Faria. The first half concluded with Ashland leading 1-0, both teams managing only four shots each.
The second half saw a flurry of goals, starting with Oliver Whaley netting one in the 54th minute. Just 15 seconds later, Pedro Faria added another, assisted by Yaya Dosso. Faria capped off the scoring with his second goal in the 77th minute.
Ashland recorded 13 total shots, with nine on target, while Ohio Dominican matched them with 13 shots, but only five were on goal.
