Women's Soccer Falls to Findlay, 2-1

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team faced the Findlay Oilers last night at Panther Stadium, falling 2-1 and marking their first conference loss of the season.

The scoring opened early, with Findlay's Sydney Noble netting a goal in the 13th minute. The Oilers held a 1-0 lead at halftime, despite Ohio Dominican out-shooting them 4 to 3 in the first half.

In the second half, Findlay continued their aggressive play, and Ellie Janszen doubled their lead in the 55th minute with an assist from Hannah Rybicki. The next 30 minutes saw both teams shift to a defensive strategy. However, in the 84th minute, Ohio Dominican's freshman Ali Mathis found the net, scoring into the left corner with an assist from Devin Schoenberger.

Overall, both teams finished with eight total shots; Findlay had five on goal, while Ohio Dominican had four. The match concluded with Findlay securing the victory, 2-1.
